I miss the Tapatalk right now, for what it's worth.

I won't go anywhere anyway, as this board is too valuable to me.

TT makes this forum (and others) so easy and fun to navigate. It's a great (not perfect) tool I had come to rely on when communicating with my MB peeps.

I will certainly hang in there and keep practicing with the mobile site on my phone, trying to keep an open mind.

So far it's not nearly as quick, handy, and useful as TT... especially when on my iPhone.

The mobile version of the forum is easier for me to deal with on iPad but I won be able to "check in" so quickly and easily (and often) like I used to on my phone using TT.

Did you make New Posts your landing page from the bookmark on your desktop?

adding the widget to my phone and when I tap it having it go straight to new post is about the same as using tapatalk..

you have to scroll down a half inch, which I can imagine for a old man like Russ could be very taxing, especially if he's not cross training for such an en devour but still..

I've had a widget for the board for a long time, just never used it. It prompts me to log in every time.
I'll try to change the widget so it takes me to "new post" if that will help.

I logged in one time when I set it up and I am always logged in..make sure you check always keep me logged in.........

Forums via the new smart phones is much easier than back when I had a Treo windows. But I managed then, and I'll manage now.

The only thing I use Tapatalk for is Mikeys Board.

This is an iOS bug that has been reported to Apple....looking to see if there was ever a fix

Edit: appears to have been fixed in iOS 8.0.1

I for one would like to thank you for killing Tapatalk. This is the first time in literally years, as sad as that is, that i have gone multiple days, almost a week without checking out this board.

Now if only the other boards will follow suit then i can have my life back.
