800 ft of travertine gone in 5 hrs, there was four of us trying to remove the debris from the floor and could not keep up with him.

what happened?

Why did you tear out the travertine?

Reminds me of a job i did a few weeks ago. Used a rotary hammer with 4" blade to remove tile n grout from a kitchen. It worked like a hot knife threw butter.

Sweet machine. We subbed out a guy with one of those last year to remove moldy tiles. He did in days what would have taken us weeks.

I am sure there is an CAL/OSHA rule regarding the beeper, that is why is there. Besides if you are picking up debris next to that thing while is running, you want to know when it's backing up. The operator is looking at the blade only, not who is behind him.
