All the new clients we get are from WOM...

AND, if and when we do section 8’s, it’s from PM companies that I can’t say no to...

I did a radio ad just for the neck of it. I had 3 or 4 price shoppers call. I could tell it wasn't my normal base of referrals or repeat.
Genny called one section 8 job and said she didn't have time to clean for them anymore and they said Ohhh no we will wait you are our cleaner and added more work.
We are priced too low on the work Genny does but I'm on the high side. Genny is growing and I'm slower but I'm making more yearly than I use to.

I thought I was speaking to carpet cleaning owner ops. I had no idea it was a group of lambo owners.

Seriously I did forgot who I was speaking to. Most owner ops do not look at growth as most businessmen would.

Instead they see it as an added burden. Something that challenges their casual life style.

You can't wait to see the kids off on the bus clean a job and come home for lunch, do another before rushing to pickup the kids to take to soccer practice. Oh and absolutely, positively no weekends.

I never saw that kind of life. We worked when there was work. Available around the clock 24-hours a day.

Nobody drove lamborghinis but we sure wished we could have. No silver spoon here.

It's a personal choice. That is the great thing of being an independent owner, you decide how much you want to work..

My father loved working, from day break to night fall, that guy loved it. I got a little of that in me...but not a lot.

I don't mind work, I don't even mind hard work, it feels good to sweat and accomplish something. But I enjoy a break too. Time with the wife, kids and hearing about their lives. I worked too much when they were small, now it's fun just hanging out with them.

My radio ad got me mostly orice shoppers but I am working up a bid for a hotel that I think called from the ad. I haven't asked yet.
