Probably because you read the ad on an Interlink site and then found the machine for $1000 cheaper on Rick's.

I've never recommended a CRB for a wash pit. I don't know that they're commonly used in wash pits, at least I've never heard much discussion about that. It seems like the Cimex is still a very popular choice for a wash pit machine. Lots of rug experts are using them. CRB's are most commonly used for encap cleaning, dry soil recovery, pile lifting, powder cleaning, and floor scrubbing.

I think someone during the first group buy mentioned that the larger units were sealed. I dont recall who said it though.

I was suprised as well to hear that some aren't.
