Did they improve the tool since mikey tested it?

Yes. Several tweaks and adjustments have been made after Mike and several others tested the early models. I am not involved enough with tools and accessories to know all the details. I think one major change was to how the ring on the bottom fit. Two or three other changes, also.

something tells me that won't stay clear for long. i wouldn't buy it for that. i remember buying the clear filter and placing it in the house thinking people would really be wowed , maybe a kid or two.

That's pretty cool!

I'd buy it just for demo's and that way it stays prestine.

After show the homeowner what's going on I'd switch back to the regular head.

If someone could figure a way to design that tool to clean within 1/4 inch or so from a wall, that would be inovative.

Can to head be swapped to the sx15 I have Scott?

I don't know the answer. Remember I am not the mechanical guy. But they only made the number of heads for the number of machines they made. So there are no clear plastic heads available as a separate item. So, I don't think it would matter much.
