I got a sample of the new pads Tuesday. They are real nice. I have to cough up the cash for the shipment before the middle of December. They are 30% polyester 30% polyamide (microfiber) and 40% cotton. They last for ever and hold a ton of soil. They will run on a Side By Side as well. I have one strange looking pad I sent you Mike. I don't know what to do with it. They say it's for cleaning. Who knows from Vietnam.

I have designed a lock for the head of the Defender I will cut them on the laser next week. All Defender owners email me and I will send you one no charge. It will not fit the CX.

I shipped your pads Friday.

I made the changes on the bolts. I went with the button head like you thought Mike. They work good and it's an easy change.

I started my Thanksgiving week school account today with my new Orbitec with wheels. The thing is flying through the rooms faster than my GLS, and the carpets are looking great. I also have been using SnapEncap all day, for the first time, and it's doing just as good as any of the other GOOD encap solutions I have used. It seems to dry a tad bit faster than any of the others.

Les, I don't know your Dad but I LIKE HIM. That is one fine machine.

And John, the head lock on the CX was real nice and very handy. But when the plunger got bent it would not retract. It would be locked in the upright position. I would like to make a stronger version.

Not even close Jim.

Glads are a cotton/poly blend while the above are all synthetic. Glads have a totally different loops structure too.

I would be interested in these pads to use with my ez glide. I like the ez glide so much thinking about selling the conqueror machine

Jim, the pads in the picture ARE gladiator pads.

Your wright Phil we do have powder coating problems at times. The chemistry and the heat has to be right. If not it peels right off. I'm sorry your machine was shipped with a problem. All I can do is repair it. If you will send it to me I will repair it. And I will through in an up grade. I'll pay the shipping as well. And that wrinkle powder is not cheap. That is some high dollar stuff.

anodize the aluminum or cut the stainless, but steel is so....1970s

I'm with you Greenie. I pay $0.63/lb for mild steel, $6.40/lb for Aluminum and $3.82/lb for SS. Aluminum weights 1/3 that of Steel and SS is 1.35 times the weight of mild steel. A machine in Aluminum would cost $3600 and one in SS would cost $4300. I will build machines any way my customers request. The fact is it will not clean any better.
