Cleaned about 500 sq ft of dark slate in a gym...It cleaned up well but not sure weather to color enhance or top coat it with wax :shock: ...I think most recomend a color enhancer but I like shiny and wax is pretty much an enhancer too isnt it? Plus it will be easier for them to mop if its waxed wont it?

Get a color enhancing impregnating sealer. It'll still give the wet look, but it'll repel liquids to which slate is vulnerable to.

Do you slate cleaning guys have many issues with efflourescence?

we do when we cover it with wax.
