we bought into the Encap hype with that machine.

Found out that the Cimex is the only way to go for scrub and run work, just not enough weight to it to really hide the dirt down deep.


BUT it is one hell of a Travertine, Slate, Brick and other rough surface pre scrubber.

much better because it's wider and heavier and most likely spins faster.

Whittiker works great on encapping, except on berber. With the yellow brushes you can get "cimex results" , it just takes longer. Great for scrubbing residentials (blue brushes), unless your dealing with berber then the Cimex rocks. I have Whittikers and a few other CRBs they do better than many believe. For commercial though I love my Cimex.

I might have taken the risk for that price, but it looks like an older unit. When the bearings start to go out on them your fooked! Then again the first unit I had lasted 10 year and I used it for many acid scrubs.
